Our shops name and mascot are inspired by the Kamikiri, a fixture in Japanese Yōkai folkore since the 17th century.
Kamikiri are a kind of magical arthropod, with a scissor-like beak and hands like razors. Kamikiri are usually found sneaking about at night, cutting off the hair of unsuspecting people.
In the shop, we keep more sociable hours, take appointments and only cut off as much (or as little) as you like. Promise.
